Splattercannon is indeed the best handgun in the game, as automatic wapon with an insane high rate of fire, nearly no recoil issue even the lv adapted monsters (supermutant warlords, deadhead radscorpions ect) are dead in extrem short time.
Unfortunately, buying it requires you a ♥♥♥♥ load of caps or tradable items worth that amount of caps (weapons, ammo, you name it scraps usually low-valued, but shipments can count). Racks up damage per shot as you would with using Power Fist from a dead Swan in Swan's Pond, which makes every enemy I dealt with looked like a child's play if used properly.
